Jorge Masvidal joins 'Combate Americas: Tito vs. Alberto' pay-per-view broadcast team

Recommended Posts

Jorge Masvidal is taking his talents outside the cage – right outside of it actually.

Masvidal, the UFC’s “BMF” champion and top welterweight contender, will serve as a color commentator for Combate America’s first PPV event Saturday – “Combate Americas: Tito vs. Alberto.” The news was announced by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani and later by the promotion.

Masvidal (35-13 MMA, 12-6 UFC) joins fellow UFC fighter Julianna Peña and play-by-play commentator Max Bretos as the cageside broadcast team.

Combate Americas: Tito vs. Alberto goes down at the Payne Arena in McAllen, Texas. The event is being headlined by a 210-pound catchweight bout between UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz (20-12-1) and former WWE star Alberto Del Rio (9-5).
